Monday,
July 5 --
Registration began at 2 p.m. Supper was at 6. Orientation was at 7:30 p.m., followed by a jam session. There were seven groups: A - Beginner (all ages); B - Intermediate up to 18 years old; C - Adult Intermediate; D - Advanced up to age 15; E - Advanced 14 - 18 years old; F - Adult Advanced, 19 and older; and G - Guitar (all ages). Stay with your group all week. Tuesday July 6, Wednesday July 7, and Friday July 9 -- The daily schedule was the same for all three days. 8 am breakfast; 9-10, group A - Elmore, B - Spicher, C - Chancellor, D - McKenzie, E - Morris, F - O'Brien; 10:10-11:10, group B - Elmore, C - Spicher, D - Chancellor, E - McKenzie, F - Morris, A - O'Brien; 11:30-12:30, group C - Elmore, D - Spicher, E - Chancellor, F - McKenzie, A - Morris, B - O'Brien; 12:30 lunch; 1:40-2:40, D - Elmore, E - Spicher, F - Chancellor, A - McKenzie, B - Morris, C - O'Brien; 2:50-3:50, group E - Elmore, F - Spicher, A - Chancellor, B - McKenzie, C - Morris, D - O'Brien; 4-5, group f - Elmore, A - Spicher, B - Chancellor, C - McKenzie, D - Morris, E - O'Brien; 6 supper; 6:30 concert. Additionally, the camp photo was taken Tuesday at 5:15. Tuesday night concert Valerie O'Brien and Jim Chancellor. Wednesday night concert was Sherry McKenzie and Dick Gimble and friends. Friday night concert was Dale Morris and Buddy Spicher. Thursday, July 8 -- 8 am breakfast; 9-10:30 groups A, B, C and G with Dick Gimble for theory; 9-9:50, groups D and E with Westmoreland, F - Graylion for Celtic; 10-10:50; groups D and E with Graylion, F - Westmoreland; 11-12:30, all groups - Johnny Gimble; 12:30 lunch; 1:30-3, groups D, E, F, G - Dick Gimble; 1:30-2:20, A - Westmoreland, B and C - Graylion; 2:30-3:20, A - Graylion, B and C - Westmoreland; 3:30-5, all groups - Johnny Gimble; 6 supper, 7:30 concert featuring the Randy Elmore Band and Johnny Gimble. Saturday, July 10 -- 8 am breakfast; 9-10:30, A - Graylion/Kuhlman; 10:45-12:15, A - Graylion/Kulhman; during the same time periods, the other students could choose between Elmore/Spicher, Chancellor/Morris, and McKenzie/O'Brien; 12:30 lunch; 1:30-2:30 planning for recital schedule (all attend); 5:30 supper, 7:30 student recital concert. Sunday, July 11 -- 9 am breakfast; check out by 11 a.m.
