These are the special
people that you'll see at Mark O'Connor Fiddle Camps and Conferences
Helen Holzen and Ellen Pryor
Helen does all the fiddle camp and
conference registration, answers all your questions, and does whatever
she can to keep the camps/conferences running
smoothly.
Ellen is Mark O'Connor's
publicist, which may mean that she provided the information for you to
find out about Mark's fiddle camps and conferences. She is
constantly moving to keep the camps/conferences running smoothly.

Hanz Holzen and Tom Holzen
Tom Holzen takes care of sound and
stage set up at both the camps and the conferences. (In Tennessee,
the sound equipment is Tom's). Tom was a popular fellow at this
conference, garnering applause as he quickly moved equipment on the
stage between sets.
Hanz Holzen, the son of Helen and
Tom Holzen, teaches guitar at MOC Fiddle Camps and Conferences, and just
happens to be in this great picture of his dad.

Blanche Williams and her son, Michael
Blanche Williams is the wife of Claude
"Fiddler" Williams, who passed this year. Blanche has
become one of the fiddle camp family, and so this year was a great help
to all at both the Fiddle Camp and the String Conference, answering
questions and selling merchandise.

Carla O'Connor
Carla O'Connor is Mark O'Connor's wife. She is
showing us that yes, she can get there before 8 in the morning!
She is a wonderfully outgoing and friendly person, and is very
interested in you having a wonderful stay at Mark's Camps and
Conferences. This is the best picture I have of her at the
moment. The one I have of us at 2:15 in the morning is not so
great.
